Welcome to Indonesia, Dude!

Who don’t know Vincent Kompany? He was the captain of Manchester City that have been banned for four games because of his bad tackle in Nani when Manchester City lost against Manchester United at Etihad Stadium two weeks ago. And what’s the correlation about him with this post? This captured image will show it.

Absolutely, I’m a big fan of Manchester United and hate Manchester City very much. I also don’t follow him on twitter. This captured picture was retweeted by my friend on 20th January and shown in my timeline. What’s the problem with the picture? He said INDONESIA in his tweet, so presented my country to the world but luckily in the negative side.

Indonesia is a big country with a lot of natural resources on it as people said. Indonesia is also claimed to be democratic country which respect about the human rights. Indonesia is also a country which is still growing and developing that could captivate investor to join business in it as almost news said. Are these statement shown in Kompany’s tweet? Nothing, he said Indonesia, kids risking their lives on disintegrating "bridge" to go to school. #BigRealityCheck. Indonesia, the country which could captivate investor to make and join a business on it can not make a simple and proper bridge for its citizens? You’re joking man but it’s the reality.

That is the unique of my country. My country is a country which has a lot mineral resources but the government in the past had sold it into private corporation until 30 years later. My country is also has a lot of natural resources but many citizens live in a poor condition. Although the government claimed that the Gross Domestic Products (GDP) rose up in 2011, the distribution’s revenue of the country was not proportional. In the law side, only in Indonesia a person that steal a flip flop were brought until the law court but a lot of corruptor were free. And a pity is how some students in Lebak, Banten had to cross a river with a disintegrated brigde to go to school as Kompany said in his tweet. They had to risk their lives to get a lesson, to be clever, and to be the next generation that will lead their own country. The other side, the House of Representative of Indonesia as we called it DPR has informed that they will renovate their Banggar’s meeting room with budget 20 billion rupiahs. They will also budgeted 2 billion rupiahs to renovate their restroom, and 3 billion rupiahs for the parking area. Are you kidding man? When the citizens had to cross with improper bridge but the DPR has a lot of budget to spend for impropriety program. How a pity.

Believe it or not, these are just some epic facts of my country, I mean “unique” facts of my country. Just make a vacation to my country to see another tons unique facts that can’t find in the other country. And Welcome to Indonesia, Dude!
